  • Overview

    Do you have your degree in criminal justice or social services? Are you looking for an opportunity to gain more experience in these areas including case management? If so, we have a new position headquartered at our Kingman location. As the Program Support Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting the Clinical department by scheduling appointments, creating files, maintenance of those files and records, reporting client progress and billing. In addition, you will assist in the collection process by monitoring urine submissions, ensuring the clients follow all submission procedures and TASC policies, collecting hair and saliva samples as well. This position is full-time and may require working weekends as well. You will be expected to provide coverage at other our locations in Lake Havasu City and Bullhead City. It is required to have a valid driver license and reliable transportation for times when a company vehicle may not be available for use to travel to the other locations.

    • Performs case management tasks necessary to scheduling and conducting interview, determining client program eligibility, screening of clients, client intakes, tracking/recording and reporting on client progress.
    • Maintains accurate and complete records.
    • Must adhere strictly to confidentiality requirements
    • Assist clients in completing required paperwork
    • Access client information and process all paperwork with special attention to detail and accuracy
    • Support and educate anxious clients to alleviate their discomfort
    • Provides emergent coverage for absent program personnel.
    • Collects and processes monetary fees from clients
    • Implement urine collection protocol, policies and procedures as directed by supervisor and regulatory requirements including adhering to strictly to chain of custody procedures in handling collections, samples, and information.
    • Observe and collect direct urine samples as well as other drug screening collection samples
    • In most cases, observations of clients will be same-sex, however, in some instances transgender or opposite sex observations may be needed
    • Adhere to established standards of hygiene and universal infection control procedures in handling all samples and supplies
    • Maintain accuracy of all court-related documents and client information
    • Provide excellent customer service to all individuals, treating all individuals with dignity and respect
    • Instructs clients in the correct process of observed urine collections
    • Will be required to work at other TASC locations as needed, including weekends
    • Completes all other tasks as assigned by Regional Manager or Site Supervisor

    1. Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice or Social Services with 2 years of behavioral health/Substance abuse experience.
    2. Minimum of 1 year case management experience in a program serving criminal justice/substance abuse population preferred.
    3. Must have good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate to a wide variety of criminal justice and treatment professionals.
    4. Must be able to integrate knowledge with practice areas of criminal justice and substance abuse treatment in provision of service. Ability to perform a variety of case management tasks and duties within the framework stated TASC program and agency policy and procedures.

    6. Must have reliable transportation for times a company vehicle is not available
    7. Must have good organizational skills with ability to work well with frequent interruptions
    8. Must have good command of the English language including writing and verbal communication skills.
    9. Capable of dealing in a courteous and tactful manner to all clientele and must be able to de-escalate clients when necessary
    10. Must have basic computer skills
    11. Must be able to effectively communicate with a variety of corporate, government and private agency professionals
    12. Must be able to demonstrate integrity, avoidance of conflict of interest and resistance to client manipulation
    13. Must pass all necessary background checks and be able to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint clearance card.
    14. Must pass urinalysis testing
    15. Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.



    • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time up to 8 hours
    • Must be able to lift from floor to waist up to 20 pounds frequently and 30 pounds occasionally
    • Must have fine vision, sustained vision, and peripheral vision
    • Must possess sufficient eye/hand coordination to operate office equipment including, but not limited to, phone, computer, calculator, copier or typewriter, and vehicle, if applicable
    • Office and home settings with varying degrees of background noise. Lighting and ventilation vary according to location. All facilities are non-smoking. Hazards may exist if the employee fails to use proper body mechanics when lifting
