Under the direct supervision of the CFO, assists in the maintenance and preparation of the financial records of the company according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The accounting department handles accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, preparation of monthly financial statements, performs bank account reconciliations and daily bank deposits and reconciliations.   1. Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
  2. Process correct garnishment calculations and compliance
  3. Reconcile payroll prior to transmission to processing vendor and validate
  4. Review and post payroll reports after payroll has been processed
  5. Process manual checks and associated Positive Pay reporting
  6. Complete administrative tasks for 401K
  7. Complete all requested reporting for the Affordable Care Act including 1095 reporting and lookback period reporting.
  8. Assist in benefits invoice reconciliation on a quarterly basis
  9. Handle entry level accounting projects as assigned. This may include, but is not limited to, cash receipts support, special projects, billing, and A/P support.  
  10. Other duties as assigned
