Overview

Our organization is looking for a Site Coordinator to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for the operational maintenance of the facility. Key duties include but not limited, supervising our security and janitorial personnel, overseeing the quality and standardization of agency collection supplies and distribution, directly communicate with our couriers and provide excellent customer service to both our internal and external customers. Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for facility maintenance and repairs, respond/handle OSHA and ADA issues, building cleanliness, and building protection (physical security and alarms, fire safety and alarms, and responsiveness to facilities threats and emergencies)
  • Adherence to OSHA standards
  • Hire, train, and maintain direct supervision of security and janitorial staff
  • Assist in janitorial and maintenance duties when needed
  • Maintain accurate and complete inventory records
  • Coordinates distribution of supplies
  • Maintain organized storage areas
  • Coordinate courier services
  • Assists department managers with internal requests for assistance.
  • Assists the Facilities Maintenance Manager with special projects.
  • Responsible for system wide uniform orders
  • Shipping Cost Analyst for all accounts
  • Assist accounting in controlling cost of collection goods
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

    1. Minimum of high school diploma or G.E.D. Business school coursework preferred
    2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience with supplies/inventory ordering
    3. Must be able to be flexible with hours and/or days needed for maintenance projects
    4. Must not be afraid of heights due to climbing on top of roofs or light poles to change bulbs using extensions ladders
    5. Must keep a clean work area at all times when working on projects.
    6. Must be able to determine priorities of daily projects
    7. Must be organized and able to multitask
    8. Must be able to obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
    9. Must pass a urinalysis drug test
    10. Must pass a criminal background check
    11. Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to bend, stoop, push, pull, reach, sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift from floor to waist up to 30 pounds frequently.
  • Must have fine vision, sustained vision, and peripheral vision
  • Must possess sufficient eye/hand coordination to operate office equipment including, but not limited to, phone, computer, calculator, copier or typewriter, and vehicle, if applicable
  • Office and home settings with varying degrees of background noise

  • Lighting and ventilation vary according to location

  • All facilities are non-smoking      

  • Hazards may exist if the employee fails to use proper body mechanics when lifting
