    TASC, Inc. has an exciting opportunity available at our Headquarters, located in Phoenix, AZ. The Insurance and Business Development Manager will have the responsibility of leading and managing the agency’s efforts to access public and private insurance markets, join respective provider networks, and provide relevant market intelligence to the Executive Leadership Team; including successful completion of all credentialing and contracting activities. Must possess the ability to identify market and contract opportunities, report outcomes, engage stakeholders, and create appropriate revenue cycle models. Must have extensive practical experience working with agencies that provide Medicaid/Medicare funded services.



    1. Responsible for public and private insurance network engagement; credentialing, contracting, and service compliance plan design
    2. Identifies market-specific and/or regional priorities, determines appropriate strategic approaches that will drive provider network engagement and stable growth
    3. Ensures tools and processes are in place to measure provider network engagement, credentialing/contracting milestones, and compliance
    4. Establishes engagement data collection for internal consumption
    5. Creates marketing collateral as needed
    6. Establishes and maintains ongoing relationships with provider network leaders and State Medicaid/Medicare and private insurance agency key staff, as well as, contract stakeholders and business associates in an effort to expand fiscal/contracting opportunities
    7. Member of the Quality Assurance Team
    8. Other duties as assigned by the Chief Program Officer

    1. Bachelor’s Degree in business, health administration, public administration, or equivalent required; MBA, MHA, MPH or other equivalent degree preferred
    2. Seven (7) years of experience required
    3. Excellence in market strategy, stakeholder engagement, and contract management
    4. Experience working with state Medicaid/Medicare agencies, third party administrators, and MCOs
    5. Basic knowledge of criminal justice systems
    6. Basic knowledge of substance abuse, evidence-based practices and treatment modalities
    7. High standard of attention to detail
    8. Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
    9. Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize work
    10. Experience working for a non-profit organization preferred
    11. Must pass urinalysis screening and criminal background check
    12. Must be able to obtain a Level 1 fingerprint clearance card
    13. Must be eligible to work for any employer in the U.S.



    • Must be able to lift from floor to waist up to 10 pounds.
    • Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
    • Must be able to give and receive verbal and written instructions.
    • Must possess the ability to utilize visual and auditory senses to complete all job duties as assigned.
    • Must be able to work in a typical office and healthcare environment.
    • State and Regional travel expected.

    1. Expert level knowledge of CMS rules, regulations, and guidelines
    2. Expert knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare Managed Care Programs across several states
    3. Expert level knowledge of public and private health insurance; market analysis, contracting and funding
    4. Expert level knowledge of provider network payment structures
    5. Expert level knowledge of provider network contracting and credentialing best practices
