    Are you looking for a part-time position during non-business hours? Are you adept in keeping your working atmosphere clean and tidy? If so, we have an opportunity for you at our Headquarters location off of Indian School Rd. and the I-17 highway.  The TASC Custodian is responsible for the upkeep of the TASC Headquarters including all offices, group rooms, conference rooms, laboratory, restrooms, entryways, and all public areas. Responsible for performing routine custodial work during non-business hours. Must have the ability to operate light to heavy cleaning equipment including, but not limited to, floor scrubber, mops, floor vacuum, and pressure washer. Custodians must have the ability to clean all types of surfaces, furniture, and restrooms. This position requires contact with cleaning chemicals, paints, and the occasional use of ladders.

    • Follows and completes the daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
    • Cleaning/Sanitizing of offices, bathrooms, breakrooms, lobbies, group rooms, and conference rooms.
    • Ensure the setup of group rooms and conference rooms.
    • Refills paper towel, tissue, toilet paper and hand soap in all dispensers
    • Sweep and clear entrance spaces
    • Floor care (vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting)
    • Surface care (dusting, sanitizing, glass/mirror/window cleaning, metal/wood polishing, clean blinds and draperies)
    • Waste removal (empty trash and recycle bins, transport trash and waste to proper disposal areas)
    • Assigned cleaning duties of the TASC laboratory
    • Maintain appearance of all entryways
    • Reports the following to supervisor
      • Presence of animals, vermin, or insects
      • Need for cleaning supplies or equipment repair in advance
      • Water leaks, and other maintenance needs
      • All other health and safety hazards noticed

    • Other duties as assigned by the Site Coordinator.

    • Must have good organizational skills with ability to work well with frequent interruptions.
    • Must have good command of the English language including writing and verbal communication skills.
    • Must pass all necessary background checks and be able to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint clearance card.

    • Must pass urinalysis testing.

    • Ability to:
      • Perform moderate to heavy manual activities. 
      • Perform a variety of custodial and routine maintenance activities.
      • Interpret, explain and enforce department policies and procedures.
      • Utilize a variety of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment in a safe and effective manner.
      • Identify custodial and maintenance needs and initiate corrective actions.
      • Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
      • Work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as needed.
      • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
      • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.



    • Must be able to lift from floor to waist up to 30 pounds.
    • Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
    • Must be able to give and receive verbal and written instructions.
    • Must possess the ability to utilize visual and auditory senses to complete all job duties as assigned.
    • Must be able to work in a typical office and laboratory environment.
