    TASC, Inc. is looking for a Facility Maintenance Specialist at our Headquarter location. In this position, you will be responsible for the performance of a wide variety of facility maintenance and management tasks. Will work closely with facility site supervisors and regional managers to provide a safe, effective and comfortable environment for TASC employees and clientele.

    Responsibilities

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist with planning and oversight of facility renovations.
    • Ordering and supervision of ongoing or periodic repairs of AZ TASC facilities statewide.
    • Establish and maintain a subcontractor contact list to provide facility repairs and maintenance.
    • Assist Regional Managers with coordination of subcontractor facility maintenance for non-Arizona facilities.
    • Provide facility office managers with current approved contact lists for emergency repairs and maintenance.
    • Establish and maintain a preventative maintenance schedules for all TASC facilities to keep HVAC, plumbing, and other facility equipment in proper working condition.
    • Establish and maintain a capital expenditure schedule for all  applicable TASC facilities to track anticipated replacement of high cost items such as roofs and AC units
    • Contract and coordinate cleaning crews and schedules for all TASC facilities where applicable.
    • Contract and coordinate landscaping and grounds keeping at applicable TASC facilities where applicable.
    • May perform minor electrical maintenance to include but not limited to replacement or repair of fixtures, minor plumbing maintenance (e.g. repair of leaks in faucets, unclogging of drains), minor painting, carpentry and masonry work.
    • Purchase and install stand-alone and modular furniture as needed.
    • Attend TASC Staff Meeting periodically to obtain and disseminate information and participate in discussions on appropriate resolutions to maintenance issues.
    • Replace or update inoperable or aged building materials and appliances (e.g. motors, belts, pumps, sinks, doors, smoke alarms, tile, fixtures, filters systems, etc.)
    • Must be able to travel to TASC facilities located across the state of Arizona to facilitate above responsibilities when needed.
    • Operate and maintain company vehicle(s) in accordance to TASC Policy.

    QUALIFICATIONS

     

      1. Minimum of high school diploma or G.E.D. Technical School certificate in HVAC, electrical, plumbing or general maintenance preferred
      2. Minimum of 7 years’ experience in the maintenance field
      3. Experience working with light plumbing, electrical and general maintenance work
      4. Must be able to be flexible with hours and/or days needed for maintenance project
      5. Must be able to work with very little supervision and make sound decisions that benefit the company and the safety of its employees and clients
      6. Must possess a valid driver license
      7. Must be able to pass a background check
      8. Must be able to pass a drug test and TB test
      9. Must be able to demonstrate they are eligible to work in the US for any employer
      10. Must be able to obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card

     

     

     

    WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

     

    • Must be able to lift from floor to waist up to 30 pounds.
    • Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
    • Must be able to give and receive verbal and written instructions.
    • Must possess the ability to utilize visual and auditory senses to complete all job duties as assigned.
    • Must be able to work in a typical office and healthcare environment. 
    • Must not possess a fear heights due to climbing on top of roofs or light poles, or utilizing extensions ladders
    • Must be able to crawl in small spaces as needed
